Ana Kun (b. 1981) is 1/5 of Balamuc, 1/5 of Zephyr, and 1/2 of LuciAna and of other duos. She has a BA in Graphics and an MA in Creative Writing from the West University of Timișoara. She is a visual artist, occasional writer, communal cook, and friend. Recently,she has become more interested in local histories, food politics, and mental health.

God Help Us But the State As Well (Să ne ajute D-zeu dar și statul) addresses the inadequacies of Romania's healthcare system during the pandemic. The precarious state of the system was highlighted during that period and will likely persist long after post-crisis state assistance has ended. Ana Kun's work is grounded in practical commentaries on social and political contexts and incorporates elements of humor and sarcasm. Her observations are made available through various media (drawing, illustration, publication, or installation), each chosen to best describe a specific situation.
