Vanessa Singezia (b. 1991) studied architecture in Paris, then continued her studies at the Ceramics-Glass master's program at the University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca. She is the founder of the UAU studio, where she creates objects that combine her eclectic sources of inspiration: form precedes function, playful elements and vibrant colors coexist with sharp, geometric shapes and also with organic ones, inspired by nature or even incorporating natural elements. Her creations have been exhibited in various art galleries and design fairs in Romania and abroad.

The artwork from our auction demonstrates her interest in form, color, and texture via a playful, yet harmonious combination of elements. We are invited to worry less and to engage in a joyous transposition into childhood freedom.
